2024 Chevy Colorado Engines & Towing Capacity

With two turbocharged four-cylinder engine options available, the 2024 Chevy Colorado has the capability to carry you wherever the spirit of adventure leads. The standard 2.7L engine makes 237 horsepower and can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Boost those numbers to 310 horsepower and 7,700 pounds of maximum towing capacity with the TurboMax engine. Depending on the trim, you can optimize the Colorado performance with off-road, terrain, Baja, tow/haul, and normal drive modes.

You’ll find the 237-horsepower engine standard with the WT and LT trims, while the TurboMax is available on these two trims and standard with the Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2 models.
